How do I know what my child has done all day?

We encourage parents to ask their children specific questions about their day. This can help with language and social skills. To assist in forming these questions, we have a brief summary of our day posted near the communication board. Here you will find what your child ate for snack, what they did in circle, and any special events that may have happened throughout the day!

As a parent, how can I become more involved in my child’s program at daycare?

There are a variety of ways to become involved, this may include: joining us on a nature walk, leading or participating in a special activity, bringing a story that your child can share with the group, etc. Please contact one of our staff for more information.

Is it possible to change my scheduled days?

We understand that there are always circumstances that arise in which your schedule may change. For a temporary or permanent change, it is best to check with our supervisor or director. They will be able to see if we have openings that accommodate your schedule.

My child is enrolled in the School Age Care, and the school she attends is having a Professional Day, do I have to pay extra for them to attend for the full day?

When a Professional Day does occur, and you require a full day of care for your child, we require an additional full-day fee. There will usually be a communication and sign up for parents to notify the centre that your child will require care for the day.

My child doesn’t like to nap, do they have to sleep at rest time?

Though your child may not nap, they will be required to rest quietly (not sleep) on their mat for a shorter time. We feel like every child needs this time to restore their bodies for the upcoming afternoon!
